Fair Trade Copper Bracelet – Om
These fair trade copper bracelets have been handmade in Nepal from copper. The bracelet features the mantra “Om Mani Padme Hum” which wraps the outside of the bracelet.
Although the English translation can have many meanings depending on the school of Buddhism, the most simple representation is as follows:
The first word Om is a sacred syllable found in Indian religions. The word Mani means “jewel” or “bead”, Padme is the “lotus flower”, and Hum represents the spirit of enlightenment.
Copper bracelets are reported to be helpful when it comes to easing the pain of arthritis by easing the joints and thus the pain. Copper is well known as a natural steriliser due to it’s inherent antimicrobial properties, whether this helps with arthritis is unknown, regardless the bracelet still looks great.
Chanting mantras can help calm you so if you chant the manta daily you will feel a great sense of calm.
A perfect gift for people who like unique handmade jewellery.
